Il progetto video curato da sideWAYS per Creative Campus

È partita il 22 settembre la produzione del progetto che abbiamo proposto assieme al Creative Campus per il Festival della Creatività. Ecco di seguito la breve presentazione testuale del progetto, in italiano e in inglese:
I partecipanti alla sezione video del progetto Creative Campus per il Festival della Creatività potranno collaborare alla creazione di materiale video di due tipi diversi:
1.video di finzione, videoarte, cortometraggi, ecc.: saranno ammessi lavori con ogni linguaggio o formato, purché rispondano al tema del festival e cioè “Città Future”;
2.video di documentazione: anche questi potranno essere realizzati nelle più svariate forme, ma avranno come oggetto la documentazione del lavoro degli altri gruppi del Campus. Ognuno dei gruppi segnalerà al gruppo video almeno un appuntamento significativo nel loro processo creativo, tra il 22 settembre e il 10 ottobre, che sarà documentato. Tutti questi eventi verranno montati e finalizzati tra il 10 e il 14 ottobre.
Tutti i contributi finalizzati saranno montati su un’unica timeline, nell’ordine in cui ci saranno consegnati. Il risultato finale sarà un unico lungo filmato senza soluzione di continuità, che verrà proiettato nel corso del Festival.
Nei giorni del festival si continueranno ad accumulare spezzoni in coda al video, ma saranno accettati solo quelli realizzati all’interno della Fortezza da Basso nel periodo specifico del festival: vorremmo che questi spezzoni fossero una documentazione “live” del Festival della Creatività. La consegna dei filmati deve avvenire entro le 13.00 di ogni giorno; questi saranno montati tra le 13.00 e le 16.00 e proiettati il giorno seguente.
Per l’ultimo giorno del Festival, il gruppo video si preoccuperà di documentare tutte le performance degli altri gruppi.
Chiunque può partecipare al progetto in qualsiasi veste: operatori, montatori, autori, registi o anche solo curiosi. L’invito è a usare la massima creatività e a non lasciarsi intimorire da limiti tecnici: anche una ripresa con un telefonino può essere magnifica.

Those who take part to the video section of the Creative Campus’ project for the Festival della Creatività, can work at two different types of products:
1.fiction, video art, short movies, etc.: you can bring works filmed in any format or language, as long as they answer to the festival’s theme, to say “Future Cities”
2.documetary videos: the object of these works will be the documentation of other groups’ work. Every group will point out at least one remarkable event in their creative process, that we will shoot. All these events will be edited and finalized within October the 14th.
All the contributions will be edited on one timeline, following the delivery order. The final result will be a long single video without interruption that will be screened at the Festival.
During the days of the Festival we will continue to pile clips on, and paste them at the tail of the “movie”. By the way, in those days, only videos shoot inside the Fortezza during the days of the Festival itself qill be accepted: we hope that these clips could be a sort of “live documentation” of the Festival. The clips have to be submitted by 1pm every day; they will be edited between 1pm and 4pm and screened the following day.
During the last day of the Festival, the video staff will document other groups’ performances.
Everybody can join the project in any possible role: cameraman, editor, author, director or even as a mere curious. We encourage you to use the maximum creativity and not to fear technical limitations: even a shoot with a mobile phone can be superbe.
